Comments From Our Listeners
Dear Kinnor Classics,
Thank you both for your lovely and informative "CLASSICAL UnMUTED" Episode #5. We so enjoyed Perlman and Zukerman. The Tuba Concerto was my first listening experience. It was pleasant. The Violin is also a listening joy for me. We enjoy the way you articulate the introductions for each musical piece. Great job. We both enjoyed Pavarotti and Sutherland in Turanadot. Keep up the good work.

Classical UnMuted is a one hour weekly program broadcasting each Monday evening at 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time via WCR (Whitefish Community Radio) as well as reaching audiences globally across the worldwide web. (Mobile Apps are also available for download for various devices under the connect tab at the WCR website). This program promotes the classical genre and is meant to entertain, educate, inspire, and foster deep interest in classical music everywhere.
We believe, in it's purest form, classical music is a historical treasure and that throughout the ages it has culminated together both art and culture. That every generation should be encouraged to explore its history, theory, and artistic depth. That all music genres can benefit from this eternal art form and that no other genre of music has had more of an impact on human culture and society than classical music. Beginning roughly in the 11th century, it has continued, developed, and even thrives today well into the 21st century.
Classical UnMuted provides a program format that appeals to all levels of classical taste. Baroque, romantic, classical, orchestral, symphony, chamber, soloistic, and even operatic. Yet we also dedicate a portion of the program to music education. Through musician interviews, topic discussions, and descriptive introductions to the pieces we play during the hour, we offer our listeners a well rounded and meaningful experience in the world of classical music. Sit back and enjoy as music history unfolds with masterpiece performances from the world's greatest composers that ever lived and then be amazed when our program features up and coming artists as they present new cutting edge compositions and arrangements for the 21st century. We'll also keep you up to date with the latest classical news and events both local and international. As listener numbers grow, we plan to expand into a two hour program with call in discussions, live in-studio performances from local artists as well as live broadcasting from area classical concerts.
